In an effort to continue the brand’s mission to celebrate all bodies, Glossier has partnered with the WNBA for its latest campaign. Glossier launched new products an exfoliating soap bar and dry-touch oil mist for its ‘Body Hero’ line. The campaign featured players from the WNBA such as 2020 WNBA Champion Sue Bird of the Seattle Storm, Seimone Augustus of the LA Sparks, Lexie Brown of the Minnesota Lynx, Kalani Brown of the Atlanta Dream, Amanda Zahui B. of the New York Liberty, Natalie Achonwa of the Indiana Fever, and Stefanie Dolson and Gabby Williams of the Chicago Sky.
During their time in the ‘Wubble’ the women were able to highlight their lives, beauty routines and talk about what beauty means to them as a part of the campaign, in addition to testing out the new products. The content was shared on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and even HULU. Below you will find a short clip from the campaign via the WNBA Twitter account.

Ali Weiss, SVP of Marketing for Glossier states “We’ve also found Body Heroes in a group of women who have used their voices and bodies to drive change in their sport and in the world: the women of the WNBA. They’re a community with a long history of championing equality and challenging the status quo, and watching them lead by example on and off the court in 2020 has been nothing short of awe-inspiring.”
This is why the partnership with the WNBA makes sense. Glossier has a mission to give voice through beauty, rooted in a belief that the power of beauty goes far beyond products or aesthetics—it is a means of connection, a conduit for personal narrative, and an expression of self-identity. The Body Hero campaign champions not just women in sport but all women, from a nurse, to an artist, to a student.
The WNBA has already had a monumental year. This partnership marks the beginning of beauty moving into the sport space as the league’s first-ever beauty partner. We look forward to more opportunities coming out of this not only for the deserving women of the WNBA but for women in sport everywhere.
