Today’s GladiatHer to Watch may not be the tallest on the court but her talent, her accomplishments, her will and leadership make her stand feet above the rest. Baylor’s Odyssey Sims is one of college basketball’s best scorers and an overall dynamic player. She was named the 2013-2014 Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year; and she is a two-time USBWA and WBCA All-American, and gold medalist in the World University Games. So far this year, the senior guard has led Baylor’s women to an overall record of 11-1. With much of the season still ahead, Sims has plenty of time to add to her accolades and propel her team to the top of the ranks. Be sure to tune in the Baylor Bears to watch Sims go to work.
